STUDIO

Clay Gruber Design is a design led landscape studio committed to creating ecologically rich environments that balance beauty, performance, and long term sustainability. The studio’s work is grounded in the belief that landscapes are living systems capable of supporting both human well being and environmental health when designed with care and intention.

Clay approaches landscape design as a means of strengthening biodiversity while creating spaces that foster resilience, longevity, and a meaningful relationship between people and place.

Clay collaborates closely with clients and allied professionals throughout the design process, ensuring that each project reflects a shared vision and responds thoughtfully to the unique conditions of its site. This collaborative approach allows design ideas to be carried consistently from early concept through realization, resulting in landscapes that feel cohesive, enduring, and deeply rooted in their surroundings.

At its core, the studio’s mission is to create environments that enhance ecological systems, support individual and community health, and grow more beautiful and resilient with time.
